Offensive subjects: I'm good with mostly everything! And I like putting my characters in awkward/horrible situations so even if he's not going to be okay I'm not going to put a limit on him either, for now. If you yourself would feel better approaching me about it first, then do! If I have issues, I will let you know. Otherwise I think we're good! Will edit if necessary.

IC information
Species: Vampire
Friends/Allies: Jean-Claude makes friends rather easily, although he will always keep them at arm's length. This is both a self-preservation tactic as well as a tactic to keep said friends safe as well. For the most part he is basically courteous to mostly everyone, even those he dislikes, due to the background he has come from.
Enemies: Jean-Claude doesn't have any enemies of note. If anything, his fellow Vampires come the closest to this definition, because they are the largest threat to his safety and stability in his eyes.
Relationship status: Single at the moment, and not particularly looking for anything more than a bit of fun.
Notable physical characteristics: Curly, dark hair about shoulder's length. Very pale. Dark, midnight blue eyes. Underneath his clothes, he's got a lot of scarring across his back from his human life, and a nasty scar on his chest above his heart where he was branded with a silver cross. Deer antler tattoos on either side of that scar.
Notable magical characteristics: His power is seductive, and he uses it in that way. He can invade your memories and dreams. Speak to you mind-to-mind and influence your thoughts, to some extent. He possesses a daylight ring and thus may walk during the day. For more information on his powers, see his application.
Offensive subjects: Very little is outwardly offensive to him, although he does not enjoy seeing other people being used or abused, as that is where he came from himself.
Warnings: Jean-Claude is a survivor. He has not survived this long by putting other peoples' needs above his own. He will use even his friends if necessary, although he will attempt not to do so. First and foremost to remember though is that he is a vampire, and a good politician, and this is a very dangerous combination indeed.

Powers:
• Super strength, enhanced agility and fast reflexes.
• Enhanced senses. Can see in the dark, has more sensitive hearing, and can smell blood at a distance.
• Can extend and retract fangs at will.
• Can sense another character is supernatural, but his sense of which type is no longer reliable.
• Resistant to most mind control attempts.
• Can resist most low level magic attempts made on his person.
• Can speak mind-to-mind with members of the nest. This will be broadcast to all others in a 20ft space.
• Can manipulate humans through mind control: this will cause the effects of the manipulation to reflect back on Jean-Claude himself.
• Can hypnotize entire groups of humans at once. Similarly, this will cause the effects to reflect back on Jean-Claude himself. He can't single any one person out of the crowd, and the more people there are, the more feedback there is from them.
• Can use mind control on other supernatural beings of inferior power if he has ingested their blood. This will also reflect back upon himself. The added ingestion of their blood makes it more difficult for Jean-Claude to stop and pull free from his own manipulation.
• Can mind control inferior vampires without having to drink their blood. This will cause the effects to reflect back on Jean-Claude himself. It will take a lot of power to pull himself free from his own compulsion, leaving him physically drained until his next feeding.
• Can control the minds of animals, including shapeshifters in animal form, without the need to drink their blood. This will reflect the effects back on Jean-Claude, and leave him with lingering characteristics of the animal for several hours.
• May attempt to enter a person's memories, though sometimes this may result in sucking that person into his memories together with him instead. (Requires physical contact)
• In canon he can add, remove, or alter another person's memories, but any attempts in game will not be possible, and will result in either accidentally entering their memories or pulling them accidentally into his own.
• Can enter another person's dreams through mind control. While there, it will not be clear to either party whose dream it is, though Jean-Claude will be able to have some influence on the setting.
• In canon, he can alter a person's perception through mind control e.g. make them perceive him as a loved one, or distract them with an illusory trick, but any attempt in game will result in giving both parties a terrible headache.
• Can speak mind to mind with a person he has shared blood with, and will be able to share memories with them from a distance. However, until the blood wears off, it is difficult for both parties to tell at times whose memories are whose, whose thoughts are whose, the lines between each person bleeding together as it were.
• In canon, his blood can heal any injuries if ingested by others. However in game, any attempt to heal another person with his blood will only make the person's condition worse -- they are drinking the blood of a dead man after all.
• Jean-Claude will find his healing suddenly happening much slower than usual. All injuries inflicted by wood, silver, or sun/UV light will heal even slower still.
• In canon, Jean-Claude could tell when someone was lying, but in game he will have a difficult time judging this unless it's fairly obvious, and will for the most part need to judge this like everyone else does.
• If he concentrates, Jean-Claude can sense emotions of other characters. He has a difficult time pin-pointing whose emotions are whose at times, and often they begin to bleed over to him, such that he starts to suffer from the effects of their emotions as he senses them.
• Can turn humans, meta humans, shape-shifters and witches into vampires.
• Can control the minds/body of his progeny attempts, though all effects will reflect back on Jean-Claude himself. It will take a lot of power to pull himself free from his own compulsion, leaving him physically drained until his next feeding.

CONTENT WARNINGS: Where do I begin...

Though he is not coming directly from canon given that he is from

undergrounds he is nevertheless Jean-Claude from the Anita Blake series. Jean-Claude will inherently make a scenario sexual if you allow him to, that's just the nature of the beast.

He is also a vampire. That means he must feed on blood in order to survive. Jean-Claude is an old vampire, he's not about to feed from blood bags or animals like some dog in the street. He has control over himself so he knows when to stop, and he has mind control powers which make the sensation pleasurable for the participant. Which brings me to a big topic as well.

Jean-Claude has a lot of mind-control powers which are definitely possible to opt out of! He also has a lot of topics in his past, his controlling maker, her abuse and torture of him, the death of his human lover, his vampire lover blaming Jean-Claude for her death, Jean-Claude's former life before he died, his wife and their child who both died, etc. If you would rather not have Jean-Claude's past come up that is fine!
